On the 3rd December 1965, when Sir Rowan Delecombe, Governor of Victoria, made an official visit to Mansfield. Shire President, Jim Tehan accompanied him to various Mansfield Locations. Sir Rowan and his wife were farewelled from the launching ramp at Phillip’s Lakeside, Bonnie Doon Caravan Park, Bonnie Doon inlet, near Lambing Gully Road, Bonnie Doon. Bonnie Doon Tennis Club, organised by Pat Forrest held a morning coffee to aid Tennis Club funds on the lawns.
