Mrs Myrtle White, mother of Yvonne McCormick photographed by Glad Phillips on the occasion of her 95th birthday in front of Mansfield Historical Society, Ailsa Street. Myrtle White is photographed beside her mother’s Cecilia (Christopher) Adelberg’s side saddle. Charles William Adelberg rode from Maryborough to Merrijig to visit relatives and court Cecilia. They married in 1889. Purchased a farm in 1908, where Myrtle now lives in a unit close to her daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and John McCormick, Mt Battery Road, Mansfield. Cecilia used to ride side saddle and jump fences.
