Mansfield Shire Function – Farewell to staff, August 18th, 1995 – L-R: Peter Adams, Anne Carroll, Graeme Pollard – Two long-serving and hard-working members of the Mansfield staff of the Delatite Shire, Gary Edwards and Graham Pollard, have accepted positions elsewhere. The two have been modest about their departures and neither were keen to have them publicised just yet, but we had to pass on a comment from a farewell gathering of shire staff recently. As Graham and Gary were presented with pen sets in appreciation of their service a voice was heard to remark, “The shire has got 40 of these pen sets on standby, each engraved with ‘To whom it may concern’.
