Bob Clark Senior spoke very highly of Ned Kelly. He said he was the best drover he ever had with him and he had a lot in his time. Ned was never any trouble and very reliable camped out in holding paddocks with the cattle when they were on the road – never went near a pub and never got into any trouble at all and was a wizard with horses.
