John (known as Jock) Christopher towing a sedan car along a very muddy road using horses. A grandson of Jack, also called Jack, gave us some information about his grandfather. Jock settled “Buttercup Station” in 1864. He also helped to build the Mt Buller road alongside his sons Ted and Jack. They were part of the road working team in those days.
