Dick Forrest and Peter Purcell, in partnership, taking cattle into Mitchells Creek for summer grazing (On the narrow Bridle Track) up the Jamieson River 1978-1980. Commentary by Dick Forrest: Dick Forrest breaking in ‘Snowy’ at Stump Hill. Snowy took the cattle to Mitchells and did a lot of horse work in the 2 Man from Snowy River films. We could never get her in foal. She got 4th in the xxx Cup with about 13 stone on her. The horses that beat her had light weights on their back.
