VICTORY was only metres away, but Chris Stoney was not about to let this year’s Cattlemen’s Cup slip from his grasp. As he crossed the finish line Chris, of Mansfield, cracked his whip in triumph, erasing disappointing defeats in the past two years. The win gave Chris the double after winning the recent Great Mountain Race at Mansfield.
