Carinya, the double story residence of American design, built by Mr Jack Thompson, for Harry and Harriet Sophia Amor and their large family of seven sons, circa 1900-1910. Note the height of the magnolia tree on the left. On the right, the original Amor home built for Charles Amor, in the late 1860s can be seen. Now trading as the Magnolia Tree Restaurant. Look in the Amor file for info written by Graeme Amor.
