Boilers at New Chum Mine, Dry Creek. The mine finally closed in 1915. A notable peculiarity of the mine is the pair of kilns built from local stone, in which the ore was heated before being crushed, in order to burn off the arsenopyrites and to improve the recovery rate from crushing.
