The Mansfield Courier, Saturday, April 8, 1916.; ANZAC DAY MEDALLION.- A bronze medallion has been struck, to commemorate Anzac Day. On one side appears a representation of the King’s Head, surrounded by the motto,- “For King and Country,” and the first date of commemoration, “1916” On the other side is a wreath, encircling the word, “Anzac.” Below the wreath will be the words, “Lest we Forget,” followed by the date of our landing, “25th April, 1915,” and above the wreath will be the inscription, “Department of Education, Victoria.” The price to school children is 6d., and adults 1/. The profits will be devoted wholly to the War Relief Funds. As a limited number will be struck orders, accompanied by cash, should be sent to the Head Master of the school not later than the 14th April.
