Allan Adcock at the front of the Walsh house (Spring Lodge) at the Howes Creek farm. Margaret and Allen were not married until 1st July 1950 – they had met at a dance at the Howes Creek Hall in 1945. Allan was visiting Mansfield as part of a shearing team at the Drake’s farm (Tonga Station) on the Delatite River.
