Son of: John Augustus Bostock (1873) and Anna Mayo (1882) Born: 29/11/1916 in Melbourne, Victoria Died: c. 1988 in Mansfield, Victoria Buried: in Mansfield Cemetery, Victoria Married: (1) Pamela Joan (1918) , (2) Barbara Baillieu (1920) Children (1): Allison (1940). Grazier of Preston, Mansfield, Victoria, 1943, 1954. Member of Geelong Grammar School OTC 1932 – 1935. Grazier of Mansfield, Victoria when enlisting for WWII on 6/2/1939. Enlisted for WWII in Caulfield, Victoria, to join the Australian Imperial Force. He lived at ‘Preston’, Victoria until the construction of Eildon Weir in 1954, when the house got flooded. He then bought a new home above the water level near Bostock Cove, toward Preston Point, in this very scenic part of Victoria. President of Mansfield Shire 5 times since 1967. In 1993 he had custody of the many diaries and papers of Augustus (1833).
