Proudest boy at the Mansfield Show was Basil Egan

Roman Catholic Church Mansfield (second) 1891. The new St Francis Xavier’s was a handsome (timber) Gothic building. It measured 150 feet in length and 65 feet wide. With alterations this church later became St Mary’s Hall.

Delatite Sawmill, Mirimbah – Sawmill Settlement

The first State Bank opened in Mansfield on December 1st, 1911. The premises at 149 High Street, were not built until 1917.
